Both equally Oracle and Cerner have in depth M&A expertise. Oracle’s biggest past acquisitions included HR software package maker PeopleSoft ($10.3 billion in 2005), and cloud ERP (organization source setting up) firm NetSuite ($9.3 billion in 2016), which had captivated early investment decision dollars from Oracle founder Larry Ellison.
Cerner, in the meantime, in 2019 acquired AbleVets — a strategic IT consulting and engineering organization specializing in cyber, cloud and method improvement solutions for federal and business businesses.
